A.G.Tex was founded end 1997 by Mr. Antoon Huysentruyt and Mr. Allain Verschuere in Waregem.

They first started with producing drapery fabrics mainly for the Dutch market.   The firm grew steadily and in 1999 they first exhibited at the Heimtex fair in Frankfurt. 

As business increased they also started to produce upholstery fabrics. Exhibitions at Scoperta and Heimtex attracted new customers worldwide.

In 2002 Mr. Huysentruyt retired and the company moved to a new location from where it is still producing today.  Another step forwards was the first exhibition at the DECOSIT fair in Brussels in 2003. At the end of that year the company bought the entire chenille collection of DHE Fabrics and moved on to double its turnover by the end of that year.

In a difficult market, the company succeeds in maintaining a steady grow and by carefully using our available sources, we continue to serve our customers in a professional way.

The company strongly believes in a no nonsense approach and expects professionalism from our suppliers, from our staff as well as from our customers to become a reliable name in the fascinating world of fabrics.
